We are Moving!
Yes you heard us right, we are moving to a big new shop in Matlock! Im beyond excitment as its what i've always dreamed of for Bow, a beautiful double fronted, huge windowed spacious shop in a fabulous old building!
and my beautiful, talented friend, Lucy Sheeran (whose fabulous handmade cards have featured in Bow for a while now) very kindly did me this amazing draw
ing of the front of our new premises!
The new shop is pretty much 5 times bigger than our current shop in Cromford (which will sadly however, be closing) so as you can imagine we now have room for even more fabulous new product ranges! Here is an idea of the lovely new ranges we will stock:

and much much more in the form of fabulous vintage furniture, home accessories & general quirky lovliness!!
Our Open Evening will take place on Thursday 3rd March from 7pm onwards where our brand new shop and extensive range of products will be first available to view and buy! Come along & enjoy a complimentary glass of bubbly to help us celebrate our move!

Snap Happy!
Just thought i'd share with you this amazing app i've discovered for the iphone, it's called ShakeItPhoto and it turns photos (new or existing) in old fashioned 'polaroid style' pics- i think it looks fab, so i decided to photograph some of my favourite products here at Bow

Christmas at Bow
Yes, I'm afraid it's that time of year again folks...
Christmas is Coming!!!!!!!
So we have announced our Christmas Shopping Evenings for this year, as last years were so enjoyable and such a great success.

The Artist Within
Well I've had a funny couple of days, feels like I've been glued to the Mac, & Steve (OH) says he has forgotten what my voice sounds like (a rare treat for him i tell you!).
And here's what I've been up to.......
I shall start at the beginning (as that would make sense- & i don't always!)
As i mentioned in my previous post, i have recently joined the phenomenon that is notonthehighstreet, & having spent many hours uploading product information & photos, i couldn't help but start to feel that some of my own photos were a little 'ebay' dare i say, and when it came to photographing my own art work, it simply wasn't happening!
So i got my thinking cap on and i remembered the lovely lady Hannah, whom i met (& blogged about) a little while ago, when she kindly included me (well Bow-im not that interesting!) in her own blog hannahmillardphotography.blogspot.com. Hannah is a fantastic photographer, self taught which really amazed me, & even better, lives in our neighbouring village
Wirksworth.
A few emails later (ooh & the persuasion of my friend Sally to let me use her FABULOUS house as the photoshoot location) & one Thursday morning Hannah, Sally, Myself & Queenie (the most beautiful cat ive seen -& im a 'dog girl' -so to speak!) had a cup of tea (needed some energy!) & set out on our creative mission!
A bit of hair tearing, sweating (only from
myself i should add- Hannah & Sally are far too beautiful to sweat!) & a whole lot of mess later & here are the results..........
